Wayne State Loses At Northern Michigan

MARQUETTE, Mich – The WSU women’s tennis squad dropped its second-straight GLIAC match 7-2 at conference-leading Northern Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Junior Natalya Natyshak remained undefeated in singles play at 8-0, but lost for the first time in doubles action with Ashley Findlay, 8-6. Jackie Johnston and Anna Hume improved their No. 3 doubles record to 6-2 on the season.

Wayne State is now 5-4 and 4-4 in league play. The Warriors wrap up the Upper Pennisula trip on Sunday, Sept. 29 at Michigan Tech.
