Wayne State Wins Exhibition, 6-0

The Wayne State University men’s hockey team recorded a 6-0 exhibition win over Wilfrid Laurier Saturday night (Oct. 12) at Great Lakes Sports City in Fraser.

Senior captain Jason Durbin had two goals, while John Grubb, Dustin Kingston, Nathan Rosychuk and Jack Redwood each scored once for the Warriors.

Senior netminder David Guerrera made 24 saves as WSU outshot the Golden Hawks, 36-24, in the contest.

WSU will play its last exhibition game on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the USA U-18 team in Ann Arbor. Faceoff at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube is slated for 7 p.m.
