WR Pierre Brown To Practice Squad

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed LB Richard Jordan, released LB Josh Thornhill and signed WR Pierre Brown to the practice squad. Terms of Jordan and Brown’s contracts were not disclosed.

Brown, 6-0, 190, was originally signed by the Lions as an undrafted free agent on April 26, 2002. During his four-year career at Wayne State University, Brown scored 37 touchdowns and accumulated 3,138 yards on 163 catches (19.3 avg.). He was voted as the Warriors' Offensive MVP after catching 57 passes for 953 yards and 11 touchdowns during his senior campaign. Brown caught one pass for eight yards for the Lions in the 2002 preseason.
