Brown Named Third Team AP All-America

The Wayne State football team received more great news recently as wide receiver Pierre Brown (West Bloomfield, Mich.) was named Third Team Associated Press All-America.

Brown, a junior, had 1,492 yards receiving and 17 touchdowns this past season. He was the first receiver in WSU history to break the 1,000 yard mark. Brown was named First Team All-GLIAC and Second Team All-Northeast Region,

Joining Brown from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on the AP All-America teams were: Clarence Coleman from Ferris State (First Team),Todd Devree from Hillsdale (First Team), Tim Mustapha from Hillsdale (First Team) and Brian Dolph from Saginaw Valley State (Second Team).
